Is there an option with an ad network to display ads related to my app?

I ran ads on my free app from an ad network I selected via Andromo, but I got bad reviews on Amazon etc because if it. So I took the aqds off and therefore any income i could have made from it.

 My app is teaching folks how to sail and the ads were totally unrelated.  Is there anyway or any network where I can get ads to display that would benefit the user?  Related to the topic?

    As far as I know the only option is to go to your AdMob/AdSense account and block the categories of ads or advertisers you don't want to feature in your app.
