Screenshots of all 50 Dashboard Item Styles in Andromo v5

edited July 2017 in Announcements
Happy Canada Day!

With Andromo v5, we’ve gone from having 4 dashboard layout options (Classic, List, Button Grid and Gallery) to 50 of them!

Take a look at all of the options you now have available to you. Then in your Andromo project, simply select the “Item Style” you would like to use on the Dashboard tab.

You’ll notice that there are 3 main categories of styles: Card, Grid and List.

Within each category, read the description to see what kind of images you will need to provide for each of your Activities: Either “wide image”, “square image” (note: this can even be your old Andromo v4 transparent PNG icon files you might be used to – but we’d really recommend that you upgrade your apps to using higher quality JPG photos), or we have provided 900+ Google Material Design “drawer icons” that you can use.

Try them out today!

  • #colinadams Thanks for the great work on the new version of andromo, and for the preview of the variety of options of the dashboard was great, I think the change will come very well and I am implementing it in my apps, I know there will be resistance to change, but In the measure that they understand that it is for our good and to continue with our current business since we are in compliance with the google guidelines there is a much lower risk that they cancel our apps and possibly favor us with a better positioning in the playstore. a greeting!

  • Thanks for the screenshots, they are very helpful. I just finished doing my first app redo and published the update on Google Play. Now to see what the users think. :)
  • @apsordor Thanks for the coments. We worked really hard to make it so that your apps now comply with the best practices and principles of Material Design. It wasn't easy or straightforward, but we've done the heavy lifting so you can benefit from it without having to know all the details. There's no question that better looking, modern and beautiful apps will get downloaded more and get better reviewed!

@tholyoak Love to hear it. Let us know how it goes! Your feedback is always appreciated.
