Functionality question

Hi guys, I am trying to create a front-end application (similar to a launcher) that will call an app already installed on the device and display it within the front-end. Basically creating a row of buttons that call applications but the buttons are still displayed to call other apps as needed. Is that possible with any of the current activities?

    That isn't possible at the moment, but we've talked about possibly adding a way to launch custom intents in the future.
