You can simply purchase a new subscription renewal here: https://www.andromo.com/pricing

If we think of any other way to do that, we will see what we can do. However if a vpn or proxy works for that, great. Hopefully Facebook will update their sdk to allow for GDPR compliant non personal ads available and we can enable that in Andromo f…

Delete your app on startapp perhaps? If an ad load fails, it will try another network. It's a hack, and would be way better for you to just update your app, but...

Yes we're aware of the upcoming changes to Google Play and are working on the changes required. An update to Andromo will be released prior to that deadline.

FYI, we have increased the number of build servers by ~70% to help meet the demand of these GDPR builds. We were at about 45 minutes the other day but down to 5 right now, but have been at about 10 all day today.

please read before asking... it’s not an error. It’s a warning. https://forums.andromo.com/discussion/2314/target-api-level-requirements-from-august-2018

@anteos Technically this message is basically “cookie consent”, as that is how the non personalized ads work rather than the ad network storing personal info. The suggested message is just that: suggested. However, it is based on what google suggest…

That’s not actually true... I’d recommend you read over the ratings guidelines again for clarification. However, my point is that if you say your app is for a G audience, then you definitely need to be extra careful with your ads.

You should first be *very* cautious of putting out apps that say they are suitable for children etc. If you do, you then need to be very aware of Google Play policy on that subject. You most certainly will have to adjust the types of ads you are all…

Update: Thanks to a Herculean effort these past weeks, we should be ready to roll out the update described above by early next week. I can’t even begin to describe how poorly this “regulation” was thought out and just how frustrating Google’s lack …

So, you want someone to type the name of an activity into a search box (e.g. “Activity 9”) rather than just scrolling down to “Activity 9”? Unless you have like 500 activities in completely random order, it’s hard to imagine that being used. However…
-
How about you describe exactly how that would work, so we can understand?
-
We’re working on it, but it’s like pulling teeth. Very few ad networks so far have rolled out support for non personalized ads (npa). AdMob says they will by the end of the week. Amazon and Facebook seem to care less. It’s the smaller guys like Appl…

@irfanarghi perhaps it would be faster and eaiser to at least glance quickly at recent threads before asking? https://forums.andromo.com/discussion/2314/target-api-level-requirements-from-august-2018

For more good laughs about what a mess this is, Google still hasn’t even released their AdMob consent sdk...
-
To be “GDPR compliant”, simply means that you need to obtain consent from EU users that they are OK with you using their “personal” data. Crazy as it may seem, that “personal data” includes the device identifier used by every ad network on the plane…

Benefit versus what?

@chempaka Honestly, if you are afraid of spreading the word about your apps, then I don’t know what you are doing... more users means a more successful app dude! We don’t allow anyone to post links here, only links to GP and Amazon for apps made wit…
-
You’re definitely going to want to educate yourself and likely update your terms of use and privacy policy, particularly for EU users. Andromo already supports those features (http://support.andromo.com/kb/application-settings/settings#license-agree…

That refers to their cloud messaging product... we will deal with that in advance of the deadline.
-
No changes since December. No problems reported.
-
Also, keep in mind the G rating is *very* strict and comes with a lot of responsibilities... Unkess you are creating an app designed strictly for children, that G rating may not be your best choice.

Thanks for the feedback @anteos . I’m keeping an eye on the build queue and we will make adjustments and/or revert back after collecting data for a few days.
-
Done. We will try this out for a while and see if it helps.

Read Darryl’s link again...

Thanks for the feedback. It does sound like you are building at the busiest time of the day for sure. The average wait time is still 5-10 minutes at most times, but we do occasionally get slammed... We have a new update planned for later next week …
