Twitter Issues
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to post a quick update regarding the current twitter outage. We are working hard on a solution that will bring back all of the functionality to twitter activities. As many of you know the issue was caused by the retirement of version one of the Twitter API: https://dev.twitter.com/blog/api-v1-is-retired
Now only v1.1 of the Twitter API can be used, which means that all usage of the Twitter API needs to be authenticated. This means that in order to use twitter in the future Andromo developers will need to sign up for a Twitter API account: https://dev.twitter.com/ and then register an app: https://dev.twitter.com/apps
This will give you a Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Access Token, and Access Token Secret, which will be required to use a Twitter activity going forward. If you wanted to get ahead of the game you can go ahead and sign up, and register your apps now.
We’re not done the update just yet be we are working very hard to get this out there and we do apologize for the inconvenience and the outage.
I will post an update here as we get closer to releasing a solution.

As a quick fix for now, if you just want to display someones tweets you can use this url
http://www.twitter-rss.com/user_timeline.php?screen_name=usernameherewithoutthe
and you can display them as an rss feed. This is still working as of 10 minutes ago.
