AirBop is Andromo's service and I'm guessing it also helps to offset the very affordable price of Andromo. When/If they move to Firebase, that income stream could be gone or diminished. From the business point of view, it's perfectly understandable …

@szymon247 Yes, it's possible and it's allowed.
-
@szymon247 No problem. That sounds like a good strategy and it's also what worked for me best since 2012.
-
That would be perfect to target specific groups for niche apps.

User retention and time spent in apps is what Google increasingly likes to see. They also released an algorithm update that will reward those kind of games (regular apps weren't mentioned - yet). However, user retention rate is a big task to tackle…

What @darryl suggest should solve your problem. It's also what I always do.

They'll have a Masterclass webinar on 9th about RWA (I'm not sure if it's public, but I always get an invite). They'll mostly focus on games (because games are best suited for RWA's), but they'll also have a few examples of regular apps using them. …

It was all over the news today. :)

@keithco Express Native is public, Advanced Native is closed beta. Andromo doesn't have native ads yet, but I share my experience in hopes we will get them in Andromo as well. I prefer Andromo apps over custom coded apps (as an indie developer, yo…

@coolappizone That's awesome! Keep up the good work and your revenue will manyfold.
-
I also understood the question as @anteos did. Once you set a package name, that's it, you can't change it anymore.
-
Here's a quick "long-term" update for native ads vs banners. Example of how I use them: Activity 1 Activity 2 Activity 3 Native Ad Activity 4 vs Activity 1 Activity 2 Activity 3 Activity 4 ------------------- Banner Ad The upper layou…

Hey @billywizz, Amazon is very good for eCPM, but the fill rate is somewhat low. However, if you combine it with FAN, I think you should get 90%+ fill rate. Those are the only other ad networks that I use next to AdMob.
-
That's encouraging to know, @anteos! I never had luck with alternative app stores (I'm not counting Samsung and Amazon as alternatives). Samsung gives me about 1/10th of volume that I get on GP, but it's still worth it. Amazon was better in the pas…

It would be best to ask AdMob directly - tell them that you want to make apps, but you'll publish them on Amazon and Samsung. Don't worry that they "forgot" to close your AdMob account and would do so if you contact them. They're smarter …

I wouldn't worry too much. I have a disclaimer on app launch ("we collect data" type of text) and a link to the full-blown disclaimer, and no one ever said anything about it.
-
The example provided by szymon247 is more than enough. I've dived into this when the EU Cookie Law was a hot topic and I have a very similar disclaimer myself.
-
@szymon247: Awesome find! Thanks.

Timer would be good (in the music player). After being featured on Amazon, my app went to #1 in a certain category (it's a paid app), but then the negative reviews started coming in because there was no timer. The app went from making over 100 USD p…

Hello, @appsbrokers. Upload your app with FAN to Google Play. Only then will the review status change to live.
-
Hi @rengarick, not a problem. I'm in the process of setting up a new business, I'm full of work on my own and joint venture apps, plus we have a baby in the house. :) I'm afraid I don't have time for 1:1 consultations. Just ask your questions here…
-
@megajmarketing Thanks for the follow-up. Glad to hear that now everything is OK.
-
@rengarick Welcome! It's definitely good to work on your coding skills, but more complex app doesn't necessarily mean more money. I found that out when I partnered up with a long time friend of mine, and while we do have some very successful ap…

That's a good alternative to mediation and if you use AdMob + FAN (with the "Show ads with the highest eCPM" setting), it definitely boosts your income.
-
@tholyoak Hm, I must have missed it. Since it was available (from 2013, I think) I was using it exclusively via AdSense. But yeah, using this tool you can block all those "trick to click" ads. It's best to block the whole AdWords accou…
-
@tholyoak Heh, I wasn't aware that they've added Ad Review Center to AdMob. It wasn't available for a long time. Good to know!
-
@keithco So that's the problem. I thought those were rooted out. I haven't seen such an ad for almost two years now and Google boasted in one of their newsletters about huge improvements in that area. "Second, we beefed up our technology so we…

Hi, that's cool, thanks for letting us know!

@szymon247 It's the seasonal low. It'll get better, but we can't know, if it's going to be as good as a year or two before (February 2017 vs. February 2016). QS is only applied to AdWords accounts. There the advertisers run their ads which are sho…

Use the "Launch Notice", that should help. I have it since Google started scaring us with Google Cookie Choices (http://www.cookiechoices.org/) - Andromo reacted and built it the Launch Notice. Alternatively, there's "License Agreem…
