So from everything I've seen here over the last few months, it sounds like if I redo my apps in V3 (which I've been working on, but am impeded by lack of functionality), I'll actually get less money than if I just let them rot as old V2 apps??

When I clicked to rate the support on my ticket that was closed without solving, I could see the whole thread. It appears that none of my responses were added to it. If that's the case with other tickets, you guys should have noticed that by now. So…

Why did you even change the support system? The old one worked just fine, and we could see all our cases, open or closed. We could also see other people's cases, unless they marked them as private, which was sometimes very helpful. It's almost like …

I don't have a ticket number. On January 11, you forwarded a response from support that was sent on August 20, which I had already answered. I answered again. I never got a response. I'm looking at the e-mail, and I don't see a ticket number on it.

I have several different audio streams that work in V2 as SHOUTcast Playlist or SHOUTcast Stream. None of them work in V3. I've had a support case opened about it now for many months.
-
@RomanJuly I have no idea what the ticket # is. You personally forwarded a message on 1/11 that I had already responded to. I responded again and have heard nothing back.
-
There is no way to migrate. They expect you to start over from scratch and then make the package name be the same. But V3 doesn't have all the same features as V2, so for many apps (basically all of mine), this is currently impossible. And nobody at…

I finally got a response just now. But I had already answered it back in August. And the response was just asking for a package name. I had already provided links to radio services that do not work in the V3 radio player but work in the V2 radio pla…

@RomanJuly No response from you still, 10 days later?
-
RSS feeds are meant to be consumed. Unless you are selling it as your own, there shouldn't be any problem.
-
Not all of the v2 functionality exists or is working in v3, so that's not really feasible for all apps.
-
There are a lot of radio features in v2 that aren't in v3 or don't work in v3, but they don't seem to care.
-
@RomanJuly Where can I see my tickets? It's probably the pending one, but if a response was sent that's waiting for an answer, I didn't get it.
-
So is this why I see all the reports of decreased earnings in V3?
-
With the V2 audio components, you could host your file in AWS and either stream or download it, depending on what the user chooses. With V3 you apparently are stuck with the choice of either streaming on embedding in the app. Streaming would be &quo…

Based on these reports, I guess I am going to keep all my apps at V2 for now. However at some point some of them will need to be updated, and that won't be possible unless something changes with Andromo. :(
-
@mww_apps At this point I don't care that we have to start over in V3, but I need the functionality in V3 that was in V2 or I can't make the same apps.
-
@RomanJuly It's now December. When is "soon"?
-
@user_#1490363 You're going to need to learn to build your own apps for things like that.
-
@gppacana44 you still think they won't ignore these problems?
-
@Altland Has this changed at all? My apps are still in v2 and I just had the best month I've had in a while. I'd hate to lose that by redoing them in v3 (but I know I will eventually have to because they can no longer be updated).
-
Too bad it's not possible to migrate all apps from v2 to v3, due to lack of support of many features.
-
Could you please fix all the broken things before adding any more new ones? We're now to the point where V2 doesn't work anymore, but neither does V3. And your support people don't answer anybody.
-
V3 has way too many problems. We need to be able to keep using V2 until they are fixed.
-
Same here. I even made a sample app to demonstrate what doesn't work for me. No response in months.
-
>They won't ignore it. They will take it seriously and investigate why this is happening. Really? Like they've investigated the support cases that many of us have had that haven't had any responses for over a month?
-
@DigitalArtStudio I realize Radio Player is working with some formats, but it isn't working for all the formats that work with V2. Examples that don't work: cdn.byub.org/classical89/classical89_mp3 radio.fairmormon.org:8000/stream
-
Are V3 apps still performing poorly compared to V2 with same number of users?
-
Radio player isn't working for all the formats that V2 has. I have submitted a support request but haven't heard back in over a month. And I didn't realize the V3 Podcast player won't download and play offline. That is a huge problem if that's true.

I haven't received any answers from support for a month now.
