(Off Topic)Amazon Payment Method

Anyone here using Amazon add network, i like to know how you get paid, im actually outside USA so my payment method is cheque.
Questions
1. How long it takes to receive the cheque (im from Asia)
2. If i open bank account here in my country that have a branch in the States, is it possible to wire transfer it there and withdraw from here? (am i making sense?) haha sorry.
