new users problem with downloading app

Hi

I just signed up and have created the most simple app ever (one song) to test if I could download it in China.

I have a Sony Ericson Xperia S0-01B which is about 2 years old and regularly download apps onto it from the Market place. But it cannot download apps made here. Why?

I live in China, but the email link and attempt to download from my projects should not be affected by this. It downloaded to the phone, but would not install. "This application cannot run on this phone". Is it that my phone system is too old?

@markfjcoyle As long your device is running Android 2.1 or later you should be fine. In order to install via the email you will need to allow installations from unknown sources as detailed in this article: http://support.andromo.com/kb/testing/how-to-install-your-app-onto-a-device-2
