Force app to start in landscape mode

Great site guys and girls.  I am enjoying my time here so far and I'm excited about what's to come.  Can you please advise as to whether it is possible to ensure an app starts and stays in Landscape mode?

    It isn't available yet, but I know Mark looked into it and had a demo of it working. I have no ETA for it to be added to the settings, though.
