Icons, backgrounds and other animals!
I intend creating a number of related apps, the look and feel of them should reflect a consistent 'in-house' style. With that in mind I am struggling.
As a mild dyslexic yet confirmed colour blind individual I am getting myself confused over what Icons / backgrounds I definitely need, what are optional and why, what colours work together and how as a colour blind person do I select them anyway? Is there a (design?) glossary I can use as a crib sheet?
So far I have,
ICONS:
Application Icon
Activity Icon
Background Icon (optional?)
BACKGROUND:
Start up colour (gradient?)
Main (gradient?)
Picture (optional?)
Tiled Icon (optional?)
Is this complete and are there any tools about that can help me bring together the necessary bits and pieces so that those with colour sight are not disgusted with my choices?
Thanks in advance,
Steve
