Password Protected Activity

To elaborate on my question about password protecting an activity:

I'm developing an app for a local Boy Scout Troop to mainly showcase what they do (RSS News Feed, YouTube videos, photos, contact info, etc) but they were also wondering if there could be a section available to house their advancement records.

I figured it would be best to house this in an HTML Archive activity and I do know scripts I could put in that activity that would password protect it, but wasn't curious if there was ever a need for other people to have a feature like this built into Andromo in general for various activities.
