  Yes, that's something you can change in a custom action bar theme. On the Styles tab, choose "Upload Custom Theme File" and follow the link in the project settings to make a "Sherlock" conmpatible action bar theme with the style generator. IIRC the "Accent color" is the one you want to change.
  
  Upload the resulting action bar theme .zip file and rebuild.

  That is the correct style generator to use. Have you used that to generate an action bar theme and uploaded it into your project?
