AdMob ad serving disabled

I have had a warning from Adsense-noreply@google.com - And I don't understand what could be wrong:
The Email reads:

This email is to alert you that one of your applications is not currently in compliance with our AdMob program policies and as a result, ad serving has been disabled to your application.

Issue ID#: XXXXXX

Ad serving has been disabled to: XXX XXX XXX (com.andromo.devXXXXXX.appXXXXXX)

Action required: Check all other remaining applications in your account for compliance.

Current account status: Active

Violation explanation


It is important for an application displaying AdMob ads to comply with Google’s webmaster quality guidelines. Specifically, the app should offer significant value to the user by providing a useful and information-rich app. Additionally, AdMob ads may not be displayed on 'cookie cutter' apps.

Please review Google's Webmaster Quality Guidelines for more information. While we've included the following excerpts from these guidelines, we recommend that you take the time to review them in their entirety.

* Don't participate in app schemes designed to increase your app's ranking.
* Avoid "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
* Make an app with a clear hierarchy and links. Every page should be reachable from at least one link.

Action required: Check account for compliance

While ad serving has been disabled to the above app, your AdMob account remains active. We suggest that you take the time to review the rest of your applications to ensure that they’re in compliance with our policies, and to monitor your apps accordingly to reduce the likelihood of future policy emails from us. Additionally, please note that our team reserves the right to disable accounts at any time if we continue to see violations occurring.


Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

    sorted, i think.  I had a link to a page on my website that was basically a landing page for all my apps, reading the terms i can see that i shouldn't have done it.  oops.

    Hm, I never saw that in TOS. I know that Amazon for example doesn't mind, if you link to a website, where all your apps are listed and even if you promote other app stores. Could you please provide a link to that paragraph?

    Are you going to write them and ask to enable your ads again?

    How many activities do you have in your app and does the main menu link to most of those activities? Make the link to your other apps the last tab on your home screen . When they say cookie cutter app they are implying it doesn't have enough content.

    I found out that I was showing ads over someone elses webpage ooops!
