Image from the Gallery, set as a wallpaper, is zoomed in

Hello,

I've downloaded a 800x1280 image, saved it to the SD card in my phone, and set it as a Wallpaper. Before the image is set as wallpaper, a cropping option pops up, but since the image size matches my phone's screen size (Samsung Galaxy Note), I just OK it and the image fits perfectly.

However, if I put the same image in Andromo's Photo Gallery activity, install the app on my phone, and set the image as a wallpaper from there, the image is zoomed in. The image is set as a wallpaper instantly, without the cropping tool first popping up.

Am I missing something or is this some kind of a bug?

Did anyone else notice this?

Unfortunately, that's how the Gallery activity is. I've asked for the cropping tool and been told it's in the works.
