Unrequired <p>'s?

Hey all, just joined here to make new apps for Google Play. Anyway upon trying to make an app I tried to add a custom HTML mobile page but after I save the changes a load of <p> tags get added throughout the code, this includes the top which causes my content to get pushed down half way down the page, so when it is viewed on a phone you have to scroll down just to pull it up, and for users not knowing they will just assume it is a blank page and leave.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to stop them from appearing?

    If you're working with HTML, you might want to consider using the HTML archive activity instead...it gives you full control over the HTML content. The only downside is that you need to create it all offline and package it up in a .zip archive.
