Open in external browser

I got a question about the new option to open a link in an external browser. Will this be still in violation of the terms of Google Play if u link in an app to an external browser?

As example, i would like to point to a newspaper website to give users a direct link. Since this seems to be in violation of TOS, can I avoid this by doing it with an external link?

I got 2 apps banned in Admob now (both Newspapers apps) and one of them as well in Google Play Store. I do not like to get my whole account banned for this.

Shall I cancel the publication of this apps in Google Play? Any advices?

Hi.

I think opening in external browser is not against TOS of Play.. except if the app is only a lot of links.

Thank you notraf for your reply, I will keep you all updated. And yes it is actually only an app to link to external sites. I will probably cancel publication as soon as ppl have updated to the new version with Leadbolt ads in it.

it is not a violation if u link it in external browsers. and dont use icons or pictures that belongs to that site.. it might cause some problems. check my app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andromo.dev326540.app368995
