As Colin mentioned, interstitial ads are only shown in-between activities when navigating, which has been that way since 2015 and follows AdMob's guidelines: https://blog.andromo.com/2015/andromo-app-maker-for-android-v4-3-0-released/ So either the …

It's the responsibility of every app developer to become familiar with Google Play's policies. Doing so will help you avoid violating their terms for the apps you publish.
-
If you're referring to the following, then no, it doesn't apply to Andromo: "Apps that are created by an automated tool, wizard service, or based on templates and submitted to Google Play by the operator of that service on behalf of other perso…

I've actually wasted a lot of time dealing with their support department/forums over the past six months and frankly I'm pretty angry with them. It's clear to me at this point that they really could care less about their Mobile Ads. Venting complete…

Yes, that's the jar normally used for old build systems. Current Android development such as that used in Android Studio uses Gradle dependencies. They do support it but haven't updated it yet. If worst comes to worst we'll change our build script t…

Amazon ads are currently disabled for EU users as described at the following URL:https://blog.andromo.com/2018/creating-gdpr-compliant-apps-with-andromo/ Following that release, Amazon stated "EU demand will be paused until the new SDK is avail…

Only interstitial ads.
-
No, there's no way to do that in Andromo.
-
In addition, you should be aware that when you create new ad unit IDs, it can take a few hours for them to become active on AdMob and that live ads (ads that aren't test ads, or set as a test device) usually won't be served until there's enough requ…

AirBop is disabled for EU users.

Hi, It's essentially saying you're showing ads whose content is inappropriate for your intended audience. You can control what types of ads are served to your app using AdMob's "Blocking controls" settings available in your AdMob …

Andromo doesn't contain support for client-side ad content filtering as described in that article. However you can control what types of ads are served to your app using AdMob's "Blocking controls&q…

@sylviathewitch I think you've misunderstood the upcoming changes to Google Play. They're not forcing users to update their existing apps. The API targeting only applies to new apps and app updates after those dates. The key points are: August 2018:…

@seganti What anteos explained is correct. Just to clarify, that permission required when you enable push notifications (AirBop) in your app.
-
@mataan The App ID is optional as described at: http://support.andromo.com/kb/application-settings/monetization#admob-app-id

I've personally never used Genymotion, only Google's emulators. I've also never tried the FAN aspect as far as production ads on Google's emulators to see how it's handled, so it's possible it wouldn't work (ie. they treat all emulators the same).
-
@anteos A couple other methods that might work for FAN are: For physical tablets (won't work for phones):1. Set your device Locale to a non-EU locale (in device's settings). 2. Do a clean install of the app on your device.3. Disable Wifi connectivit…

@olaf_rosendahl I believe you should be able to use the same format. Look at your HTML Archive activity's "Activity URL". There you will find the ID of your activity. The ID will be something like "html1234". Use that ID in the p…

@sylviathewitch Yes we've seen it.

@aht844 It's just a notification of requirements that will take affect in August. It doesn't prevent you from publishing right now.
-
@olfixx Andromo supports banner ads and interstitial ads. The items you're describing are handled by AdMob and are part of the ad itself, so I don't see how it applies to an app built with Andromo.
-
Yes we will be putting out a release of Andromo containing updates and SDK updates related to GDPR. Unfortunately not all the related information/sdk updates has been made available yet, so we're waiting for additional details. All of Andromo's rele…

Yes we're aware of the upcoming changes to Google Play and are working on the changes required. An update to Andromo will be released prior to that deadline.

@hermizariafis Yes we're aware of the upcoming changes to Google Play and are working on the changes required. An update to Andromo will be released prior to that deadline.

No I'm sorry we won't be publishing any type of roadmap for releases of Andromo.
-
Look for the item called "Blocking Controls" in AdMob which is available globally and per-app. You can use that to control what types of ads are allowed in your app.
-
@techanup20 If you're referring to your suggestion about a "search" and "translate" option, neither of those features will be considered in the near future.
-
No, it's not possible to disable the about page.

All I'm saying is that based on the information in that link and one of the violations they list, it seems pretty likely to be the cause. The only ones that will be able to provide you with further details about that app or your other version is Goo…

If you look at the "examples of common violations", it lists one as "Apps that facilitate or provide instructions on how to hack services, software or hardware, or circumvent security protections." S…
