  • Fantastic updates, thanks @mark.

Is the latest Samsung SDK library mandatory for already published apps? Do we need to update them?

And I guess the latest AdMob SDK is just a "maintenance" update?

    Thanks.
  • Hi ,
I was in 4.0.5. When i updated from 4.0.3 to 4.0.5 the size took few ko..
But with this update my app took 300ko! And i did not add anything..
I have Just checked my previous download:

    2,49 mo – - > 2,79 mo.
And i have Just html and website activites (total html size + icons <1mo).

Why it is so heavy ? I don't have any ads..

  • @hendrixs You do not need to update existing apps in Samsung, only apps that you upload after July 1st. The AdMob update was just to keep up with the latest Google Play Services release.

@baraw It could be the Google Play Service update, which is always linked in with your project regardless or whether or not you use AdMob. I'll take a look and see if there is anything I can find.
  • Nice, thanks.
  • @hendrixs and by that I mean only new apps that you upload after July 1st.
  • @mark: Sure, thanks. I'm really happy to see that Samsung is fully supported. We should also see a nice boost on Amazon Appstore now that Amazon decided to release it's own mobile phone.
