@mark No, I added a new Application in Twitter for each app that I have on Andromo. My guess would be that it is because I just used that account to create the OAuth settings for my apps and didn't really use it for anything else..... but just wante…

@darryl after I upgrade my Admob account by following the guide provided, will I have to update my existing apps? I worry that after upgrading, all my existing apps will stop functioning or stop serving ads.

Latest builds of Andromo apps have a share link in the app itself (top right corner in the dashboard screen). From within the app itself you and your users can now share the app using whatever social app/links available on your phone.
-
@markholland8 that is what it says on the Pricing page. Why don't you try it out. If you do get 1 free app, it means you will be able to build your 1 app and then be able to download its APK. After that, you will need to upload it separately to Goog…

yup, sometimes the reporting is delayed longer than usual

Some people have said that it is possible using HTML, but only just to launch the SMS app on the phone and not automatically sending it. Some references: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5721437/how-to-initiate-send-sms-from-a-html5-webpage-using-…

or just have a simple search box so we can search based on the app name

Integration with Socialize (http://getsocialize.com/) i.e. able to implement this mobile social platform easily using Andromo

Maybe you didn't highlight the publisher id properly when you were copying it. If you double clicked to select, it would have automatically included the whitespaces after the id itself. You need to carefully select only the characters of the id and …

Have you tried renaming your list? Maybe it is because of the empty space character in the list's name

Now that 3.0.4 is out, you can use the activities linking feature to somewhat achieve this effect andromo://<<internal-activity-identifier>> You just need to select the "None" dashboard and use a HTML page for your menu (fold…

Nice!

I also want this feature
-
Make sure you choose to track a "Website" and not an "App". Somehow it doesn't work with the App option
-
This is why the "Copy Project" or "Duplicate Project" feature is the most requested feature. Right now, if you want to create a slight variation of an existing app you will have to recreate everything from scratch.
-
In your "My Projects" page, look for "Build Status: Download". You will need to download the APK and install it on your device. Alternatively, you can use BlueStacks for testing.
-
It should be just as simple as http://www.youtube.com/rss/search/KEYWORD e.g. http://www.youtube.com/rss/search/andromo

Hear, hear..... I fully agree with what has been said by straybullet above. Well done Andromo!
-
I thought when you start to play an embedded YouTube video, the actual video player app will take over anyway? From my experience there is no difference in playback performance (I have not tested on low spec Android devices though)
-
Hi straybullet, you could try using the Custom Page activity and then just pasting the YouTube html embed code (make sure you are in source code editing mode first)
-
I think it also depends on where in the world you are accessing the Play Store from. I have experienced my listing going live about less than 1 and a half hours after publishing it.

When I started using Andromo, I didn't have my own Android device. I used (and am still using) Bluestacks (http://bluestacks.com/) to test my apps and also for grabbing screenshots. I think this is quite useful since I can do all the "developme…

Hi, have you considered using the reCAPTCHA service?

I think there should be an activity called "Share this App" and in that activity we are are allowed to configure sharing via Facebook, Twitter, Email, Google+ and any others that you may want to add in. What it does is it sends an FB, Twit…

You can charge a fee that includes the US$25 Google Play account + your services. You then help them set everything up since uploading to Google Play might even be "too technical" for them. Even better if you are able to charge a monthly f…

I have a couple of questions about the 1000 free devices that we get for free: (1) if my app already have more than 1000 active devices using it, will I need to upgrade my account or can I just send my notifications (and AirBop automatically adjusts…

If you want the variables to be passed in the URL, then use GET. However if you want the variables to be hidden from users (and log files), then use POST instead. It is much secure to use POST instead of GET. The only difference is you have to chang…

Yes.... very nice!
-
Hi dukeminster, You will need to disable ads (or keep showing ads with your admob code) and then rebuild your apps before reuploading them to the Play Store.
-
Looks interesting...... can't wait to try it out in my apps!
