of the page under Publisher Tools. This will show you the APPS page:
-
Click on the Create New App button.
-
Enter all of the information for your app.
For Platform, choose "Mobile Web." This will
pre-select HTML banner ads for your app. Do not choose "Android"
because that will pre-select the SDK ad types which do not work in
Andromo. Only the HTML banner ads work properly at this time. For App / Site URL, enter the Google Play URL
for your app (if you know it), otherwise enter www.andromo.com for now. (You can edit
that field later.)For Content Type and Category,
choose a value that is appropriate for the content within your
app.For Demographics, adjust the values to
represent your best guess of who you expect your users to be.Note: Make sure you set the platform to Mobile
Web. -
Click the "Create Now" button to return to the
APPS page. You should see an entry for the app you created, with two ad
types: "App Banner (HTML)" and "App Overlay (HTML)." -
Click the Edit button and select Edit Settings for the
"App Banner (HTML)" ad.The Edit button is the little button on the right, on the row
next to the "App Banner #1 - 320x50" text under
Actions. -
Change the Banner Size to "Auto Stretching" and
make sure the Open Clicks In setting is set to
"Current Window" THIS IS IMPORTANT. -
Click the Save button to return to the APPS
page. -
Click the Get Code button for the "App Banner (HTML)" ad.
The Get Code button is the little button to the left of the
settings button under the Actions column, on the
row next to the "App Banner #1 - Auto Stretching" text. -
Copy the numeric section ID from the Get Code popup.
The section ID is used to tell LeadBolt what ad to send your
app, and to track the clicks so you can get paid. It can be seen in
the Get Code popup window as the number following the
section_id= part. You must enter this section ID on the Monetization tab in your
Andromo project. -
Enter the section ID into the Monetization tab in your Andromo
project settings. In your Andromo project, enable the LeadBolt Banners"
option on the Monetization tab, and then enter your section ID into
the **LeadBolt Section ID field.Make sure you enter it correctly. It should consist of a single
large number, like this: 513685406Remember to click Save Changes when you're done.
-

If you build your project now, the LeadBolt ads will be shown in
Test Mode. In test mode, placeholder ads are used and
clicks do not get counted. -
On the LeadBolt portal APPS page, click the
Test Mode button and select Set
Active to take your app out of Test Mode.Your app will need to be manually approved by the LeadBolt
approval team but once approved, live ads will begin to show in
your app.You will receive an email from LeadBolt when your app has been
approved. -
Build your Android project and distribute the new version of
your app.
Troubleshooting
How to
add an HTML banner ad if you don't have one
When you create your app in the LeadBolt portal, if you choose
"Android" for the platform instead of "Mobile Web" you will see
many rows of SDK ads, but no HTML banner ad. You will need to
manually add an HTML banner ad to your app in LeadBolt to get the
correct section ID for Andromo.
Here is how you can correct this situation:
-
Log
in to the LeadBolt portal and go to the APPS
page. -
Click on the Add Section button.
This will open the "Choose Ad Type" popup.
-
Switch to the HTML Ads tab.
The SDK Ads tab is shown by default, but the ad you need to
select is on the HTML Ads tab. -
Select the App Banner (HTML) ad.
-
Make sure that Banner Size is set to "Auto Stretching"
and that Open Clicks In is set to "Current
Window." THIS IS IMPORTANT. -
Click the Add Now button.
-
Copy the Section ID from the code in the Get Code popup. This is
the value you can use in your Andromo project. Click OK to return
to the LeadBolt APPS page. You should see a new row for your ad title "App Banner
(HTML)." -
(Optional) Set the other ads to "Deleted" so they don't clutter
up your dashboard. You can change an ad's status on the LeadBolt APPS page by
clicking on the little green dot at the start of its row and
selecting "Delete" instead of "Pause". Note that this doesn't
actually remove the ad entry; it just allows the ad to be hidden
when the APPS page is set to Show "All But Deleted" instead of
"All."
Comments
Reason: The displayed content is not allowed.
Message: This mobile website is believed to promote individual apps and
each app should be added to LeadBolt separately. If you believe this is
an error or if you have any questions, please contact support
believe the issue is that German TV is created as a mobile web app. As
it is an app, I recommend German TV to be created in the
portal again as an Android App, and it should be fine.
