Google Mobile Ads SDK Update Ensure your ads are initialized correctly
Starting March 2019, Google will begin releasing new versions of the Mobile Ads SDK and associated mediation adapters, which may require changes to your app. In an effort to streamline and simplify your workflow, Google will begin automatically initializing your ad network SDKs. If you update your application to include the new versions of these mediation adapters, you may also need to make changes to how your application initializes the Mobile Ads SDK. What’s changing? With these new mediation adapter versions, ads may be preloaded either by the Mobile Ads SDK or the mediation partner SDKs upon calling MobileAds.initialize() in Android and GADMobileAds.configure in iOS. What are the next steps? If your application is affected, make sure you take any of the following actions before initializing the Mobile Ads SDK: • if you need to obtain consent from users in the European Economic Area (EEA) • if you set any request-specific flags (such as tagForChildDirectedTreatment or tag_for_under_age_of_consent) • or if you take any other action before loading ads
How can I learn more? You can find the relevant developer documentation here: Android, iOS. If you have users in the European Economic Area (EEA), please take the opportunity to review your EU consent implementation, the Google EU User Consent Policy and the corresponding Mobile Ads SDK developer docs (Android, iOS).
Yours sincerely, The Google AdMob Team

@gppacana44 thats not going to happen. They can't even fix the bugs in v3. It's been almost a year now. There are better options than andromo right now. The quality of andromo apps don't compare to simular apps in the app stores. They only care abo…

@907 Even if they delete the comment I have already warned others on trust pilot, although they have many fake reviews on there promoting V3. I've used andromo since 2012 and right now its the worse I have ever saw it. The support was much better b…

V3 is horrible right now. Andromo support is slow, I'm moving on and will not be renewing my subscription when its up in 6 months. The amount of time it's taking to fix bugs with V3, you can easily learn how to code your own apps and learn how to us…
-
I have already told support this and they claim to be working on fixing the issues.
-
Yes V3 apps seem to have lower earning numbers than V2 with admob. I assume because of all the problems with V3.
-
@RomanJuly the search feature is still not working. It's not good to have content apps without search. Users will complain and the app will barely be discoverable on the platforms. Adding in app purchases with no search is like a car without wheels.

Andromo has become so bad. This is the last year I am going to use them. When my subscription is up, I'm out.
-
@RomanJuly when is andromo support going to answer my ticket about the ringtone issue? Users can not set the ringtone on Android 9 and below. I already lost a lot of users and revenue. This also is effecting andromos impression revenue. I don't unde…

Admob Mediation Make sure search works with firebase activities. Make sure a ringtone can be set to the users contact Language localizations In-app purchases and subscriptions.
-
@RomanJuly search still does not work on firebase audio activity. I submitted a ticket 1 month ago. I got a reply back a few days ago saying it was fixed. I just tested it and it still does not work.
-
@meold Do you know when the search and set as ringtone will be added to the firebase audio activity? A lot us are waiting on that. It's more revenue for andromo also when we have a lot content that will keep the user in the app longer.
-
@user#1113190 I haven't test all of them but the ones I tested all played. I will test them soon to make sure. I will not put anything in the store that will cause users to complain because google play 's algorithm will make it hard for the app to b…

@user_#1113190 I have about 75-100 in one folder and it loads in a few seconds on the app when I tested. Yes I use multi-region and US.
-
@user_#1113190 yes I use the audio firebase and will use the photo api soon. It don't sound like you did anything wrong it could be internet speeds. I am going to test the photo firebase soon to see how it works. Also the search doesn't work on fire…

@JamesHartley and @tolko21 they have the app bundle access on V3 Ultra builds. It was added a few days ago.

@meold add mediation via admob. It allows you to use multiple Ad networks in 1 SDK. It also will only show the ad network that pays the most cpm. I have used it for 2 years on apps outside of andromo. https://developers.google.com/admob/android/me…
-
It will be soon available on other Ad platforms as well. Everyone in the Ad space follows Google and Facebook.
-
@meold @EgorEgorov I can't wait to try the new builder. Sounds like it will be great.
-
The only way to do this is to have a backend server/API for the content. I've already talked to the Andromo team for years about this. I just lost hope and started coding my own apps. You can either wait on them or learn about apis and coding. I be…

@meold and admin panel is a website with an api which allows you to load content on the app. Here is an example of a wallpaper app what has an admin panel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3bGRsfguZQ

@meold Search on the Dashboard and in activities, that will allow the user to search throughout the app for a specific wallpaper, audio file, or content. Adding a search widget like this https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/search/search-dial…

@meold where is the search feature on the new builder? Users of the app will complain if there is not a search feature when we have lots of content in the app. Also you have a firebase feature only for analytics. Some of developers can use firebase …

Its a good time to learn how to code your own apps. It's little harder but it's worth it. Plus you will own the code and have more functions in the app. App builders are very limited anyway. I learned to code and don't use app builders anymore. I ju…

Has any developers that run ads for downloads tested the ultra commission plan? Admob rates change all the time so this can really hurt profit those that spend money in ads to grow downloads. It may not be worth it all. Admob rates are based on a bi…

@hendrixs No I don't know but here is a tread about it from Android users. https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/ringtone-not-working-properly-after-android-10-3-0-update.1156733/
-
I meant we can not fix this issue. It’s not our issue
-
@hendrixs @andromoappmaker I discovered the issue is a sound problem with android 10 update. It has nothing to do with the apps and can not be fixed on our end. The users should contact their phone manufacturer the get the bug fixed with an update.

Yes and I have already submitted a ticket with @andromoappmaker months ago.
